On February 11, 2026, associate professors of the Department of Applied Materials Science and Technology of Structural Materials Khrystyna BERLADIR and Nadiya KHARCHENKO took part in the first webinar on the topic "Research Data Management: Best Practices for Organization, Storage and Dissemination" from the webinar series "Research Data Management in Modern Science".

The lecturer of the event was Olga KRAMARENKO, Head of the Center for Science Quality Assurance of Sumy State University. The meeting was organized with the support of the Center for Human Resource Development of Sumy State University.

The webinar was attended by managers and responsible executors of state-budget research works, as well as scientific, pedagogical and scientific workers of the university.

During the event, modern approaches to the organization, systematization, storage and dissemination of research data were considered, which is an important component of ensuring the quality of scientific activity and academic integrity.

Participation in the webinar contributed to the improvement of the professional level of the department's teachers in the field of scientific research, as well as to the strengthening of the methodological support of the educational process at the bachelor's and master's levels. The knowledge gained will be used, in particular, when teaching the disciplines "Fundamentals of Scientific Research and a Systematic Approach to Solving Engineering Problems" and "Intellectual Property and Patent Law".
