The Department of Applied Materials Science and Technology of Constructional Materials successfully defended the qualifying bachelor's theses of higher education applicants in specialty 132 "Materials Science".
During the defense, the higher education applicants presented the results of their own research and development, demonstrating thorough theoretical knowledge, practical skills, the ability to analyze modern scientific and technical problems and apply engineering approaches to their solution. The topics of the bachelor's theses covered topical issues of modern materials science, materials processing technologies, research into the structure and properties of structural materials, as well as directions for improving their operational characteristics.
The examination committee noted the high level of preparation of the applicants, the relevance of the presented works, the confidence of the students during the reports, and meaningful answers to the questions posed. Most graduates demonstrated the formed professional competencies necessary for further work in the field of materials science and engineering.
