On October 1st at 3:00 PM, the Baltic University Programme (BUP) webinar “Designing Recovery in a Circular Economy: From Safe Materials to Restored Ecosystems” will take place.

The event will focus on modern approaches to the creation of safe, circular and bio-based materials and their potential contribution to ecological recovery. Special attention will be paid to the concept of “Safe and Sustainable by Design”.

The webinar program includes the following topics:

• “Safe, Circular and Bio-Based Solutions for Recovery”;
• “Safety and Sustainability Assessment of Chemicals and Nanomaterials”;
• “Bioplastics from Organic Waste: Biopolymers for Soil Remediation and the Role of the “Safety and Sustainability by Design” Approach”;
• "Towards a new generation of safe, circular and biotextile materials: the TEX4GREEN project".
