On March 20, 2026, a webinar was held at the Faculty of TeSET of Sumy State University, dedicated to the issues of academic integrity in the field of higher education.

The guest speaker of the event was Bondarenko Olena Yevheniivna - the head of the group for promoting academic integrity of Sumy State University. She presented a report on the topic "Integrity in science and education: rules of the academic culture of a researcher". Bachelor's and master's students, as well as faculty teachers, participated in the webinar.

A number of important issues were considered during the event, including:

-basic principles of academic integrity in educational and scientific activities;
-common violations of academic ethics and their legal and image consequences;
-modern approaches to preventing plagiarism and correct citation of scientific sources;
-the role of academic integrity in shaping a researcher's reputation and building a successful career;
-the use of artificial intelligence in education: its capabilities, potential risks, and principles of ethical use.

The webinar became an effective platform for meaningful discussion and contributed to raising awareness among students and teachers about the standards of academic culture, as well as current challenges associated with the introduction of new technologies into scientific and educational activities.
